About inCampus

Our Mission

Revolution, excitement, shift, something new; many words can be used to describe a new internet site but we implore you to look past them. inCampus is a mission. A mission started by young men and women with the passion to EVOLVE the way students, connect, transact, and build themselves into the future business, educational, and social leaders. We live in a transitional time where this generation is primed to utilize all these skills they have learned thus far and use them to make a stand.

Campus | Commerce | Community™ - three words that sum up the core of inCampus.com. This generation’s students stand at the forefront of technology and communication. Now is the time for you to use this to better your lives and the lives of those around you. To create meaningful connections , know your communities, start businesses and entrepreneurial practices, find employment, or just find old friends or new roommates. inCampus is committed to bringing you that system. Up until now social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook have greatly improved the way your generation communicates on the web and in your lives. The emergence of these sites has advanced the way people connect on the internet by leaps and bounds, however, we pride ourselves in becoming something more. By bringing together networking features, marketplace functionality, and Gen Y catered services, inCampus is The World’s First Social Commerce Network TM for college students.

inCampus empowers today’s generation by allowing you to connect, keep in touch, browse marketplaces, get informed, and give back. Join us as we seek to evolve the way the internet can affect the world globally as well as locally.

Social Service - A Core Value

You want to make a difference and so does inCampus. Social service is in our bloodstream and a key part of our DNA. Upon the creation of inCampus, the founders dedicated a portion of the their part of company’s equity to create the inCampus Foundation. As the company grows, the foundation’s funds will grow exponentially, ultimately creating a significant amount of resources that will be used to provide financing programs for college students around the world. In addition to this, inCampus has dedicated 5% of our profits to helping young entrepreneurs start their own businesses and startups. These “seed money” fundings are dispersed quarterly and are distributed based upon the merit of the submitted student business plans. Look for more details on the student micro-finance plan in the coming months.

But just don’t take our word for it. Check out some of our outstanding student team members and what they have to say:

Ryan E. Benson - University of Washington I believe there is a strong need for such a site. While there are sites that have commerce components, they don’t focus on the student or the college/campus community. InCampus is bringing the community back to the students.
Lisa Tran - University of Washington I know of no other site or company that is catering to this niche market. I need to sell my book to other students on campus and the book store is such a rip off, I feel inCampus is the best solution
Alvin Lai - University of Washington All students need a website for social networking as well as commerce. InCampus helps me connect to my peers as well as future employers.
Kristie Koda - Pacific Lutheran University I like inCampus because I feel it’s safer than the other sites. You really never know who is behind that screen name or display name!
Ratchel Pinlac - University of Washington There’s a need for inCampus because students need the ultimate all-in-one resource tool to buy books, post events, find housing, network, and anything related to college.
Andrew Gines - Stanford University
Jeffrey Khan - Virginia Tech University
Heather Tadman - University of Washington I think there is a need for inCampus because it assists college students in every aspect of their life. The network on inCampus allows you to buy and sell things, keep updated on the latest happenings around campus, research jobs and internships, find deals on vacations, and so much more. As a college student inCampus is all you need!
Ashlyn Read - University of Kentucky
Angela Battafarano - Indiana University
Robert Hung - Columbia University
Krislyn Yano - University of Southern California
Charnelle Yap - Oregon State University
Erika Cabatingan - Pacific University inCampus is extremely easy and convenient to use. I love how it has the capabilities to create an online market within individual school systems but at the same time you can shop in other school networks as well. It’s a very easy way for students to sell their unwanted goods.
Fatih MacCauley - University of Hawaii
